Creating Luminous Washes...Wet on Wet Techniques
Discover the magic of watercolour with award winning artist Brian Turner. Brian studied Fine Arts at Okanagan College and Brigham Young University. He is an elected member of the Society of Canadian Artists and of the Canadian Society of Painters in Watercolour.

This six week course will explore the use of wet on wet techniques to create luminous washes. Brian will share his own work and the work of other watercolorists who use wet on wet to create lively, loose compositions. There will be demo's, and students will share their work for a group critique. The subject matter will include urban scenes and landscapes.
Tuesdays, September 14th to October 19th, 2021 (6 weeks),
Wednesdays, September 15th to October 20th, 2021 (6 weeks)
Tuesdays, November 2nd to December 14th (6 weeks) no class Nov 9th
Wednesdays, Nov 3rd to December 15th (6 weeks) no class Nov 10th
Time: 9:30AM to 11:30AM
Fee: $150.00 for KAC members; non-members, $170.00.
Registration will open to KAC members for the first set of classes (Sept. and Oct.) on August 16th. It will open to the general public on August 19th. Registration is limited and offered on a first-come, first-served basis. Fees must be paid in full at the time of registration. Kanata Art Club reserves the right to cancel a class where there is insufficient registration.
To withdraw prior to the start date, please contact the registrar email@example.com . A cheque for a full refund less an administrative fee of $15.00 will be issued if a written request is received no less than one week prior to the start of the first class (i.e., on September 7th). There will be no refund issued beyond that date.
