Watercolour Basics and Nature with Linda Hillier
"With many years of teaching experience, I am energized by the sharing of knowledge and skills and seeing each person's unique artistic development."
This course is designed for students interested in working from nature and learning the basics of watercolour. It will cover initial sketches, designing composition, finding and mixing your colours and using a variety of techniques to create your work. We will cover the use of the colour wheel, complementaries and colour schemes. Also using masquing fluid as a means of keeping your whites. The materials will be covered in the initial class and there will be basic colour palettes available for use. Do not rush to buy new paints or brushes until we have covered this information. Watercolour is a wonderful, endlessly challenging medium and I hope you will join me as we discover some of its intricacies.
