Bygone Years: Towns and Villages with Brian Turner

The old horse-drawn wagon, the general store, verandas, old railway stations, flour mills. . . Each week, Brian will discuss a variety of watercolour techniques and introduce you to the different thematic interpretations of well known watercolour artists from around the globe.  We will be interpreting some of the images using pen and ink as well as watercolour.  

Participants should be comfortable with two point perspective and drawing buildings. You will need to download the ZOOM app.  There is an introductory course for new ZOOM users available at

Recommended for intermediate and/or advanced watercolourists

Dates: Tuesdays, March 9th to April 20th (7 weeks), and Wednesdays, March 10th to April 21st (7 weeks).  Time: 9:30AM to 11:30AM

There is one spot available in the Tuesday class, and a few spots in the Wednesday morning class.

Fee:  $150.00 for KAC members; non-members, $170.00.

Registration is limited and offered on a first-come, first-served basis.  Fees must be paid in full at the time of registration.   Kanata Art Club reserves the right to cancel a class where there is insufficient registration. 

To withdraw prior to the start date, please contact the registrar .  A cheque for a full refund less an administrative fee of $15.00 will be issued if a written request is received no less than 48 hours prior to the start of the first class.  There will be no refund issued beyond that date.
