Janice Johnston

Janice expresses her feelings about life events and her love of nature through playful and experimental use of colour, shape, value and texture using paints, fabrics, papers and found objects.

She had an academic career in nutritional sciences and had some wonderful international experiences with CUSO, the International Development Research Centre and Health Canada which continue to influence her colour palette and appreciation of surprises. She painted and took courses wherever her nutrition career led her.

She has exhibited in juried shows since 2002.
