Jane is the guest speaker for the June meeting of the Kanata Art Club.
This is an afternoon meeting and starts at 1:30pm
Her talk will focus on an Overview of Women Artists (past and present).
This talk will include images of paintings and biographical information. Jane note that "There is more women's art out there than you think.'"

Rosa Bonheur - 16 March 1822 - 25 May 1899
Rosa Bonheur was a French artist born in Bordeaux. Her most famous paintings are Ploughing in the Nivernais, which was first exhibited in 1848 at the Paris Salon and The Horse Fair, which was exhibited in 1853 at the Salon but not finished until 1855 and is now in the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York.
